What is the mask policy?

Since only vaccinated team members and vaccinated visitors will be coming to the cbd-x office, masks are optional in the office. For meetings outside of the cbd-x, we’ll wear our masks until we know that all individuals are vaccinated. For everyone’s health & safety, if there are any unvaccinated individuals in attendance, we ask that they wear a mask, and we wear one will too.

Can we meet in person?

Yes. We are accepting fully vaccinated visitors to the office for meetings by appointment only. We are also doing in person meetings offsite. We do ask that any unvaccinated individuals wear a mask during our visit.

Are staff temperature checked before entering the office?

No. When our team is sick, they stay home. We have consistently built a culture that gives the team options to take sick leave or work from home when they do not feel well so that they don’t feel pressured to come to the office while they are sick.

Are visitor’s temperature checked before entering the office?

No. Our work is collaborative in so many ways. And that collaboration includes you. In order for that to happen, we have to have a certain amount of trust in you. We trust that if you are sick, that you will reschedule an in-person meeting or replace it with a virtual one.

Will you be answering your phone?

Yes! In the office or while working from home, we are reachable via our main and direct phone lines. Likewise, we’ll be responding to all emails and be reachable via a video meeting. (But, we make no promises that our cats won’t join in.)

Are my projects safe?

Yes! All projects are stored on secure internal servers, which we can access while working in the office or through a secure tunnel from home. These have servers have ongoing back-ups running. (You caught us; we’re geeks! We’ve been maintaining and updating our own servers since 1991.)

Will there be any delay in my project?

No. Our love of technology means that we’ve been on the cutting edge of telework for over ten years. We’ve been making infrastructure investments for a long time to support teleworking. However, we’ll keep you apprised of any changing conditions that may affect your project.
